Message from the President

During my temporary stay at Camelot I was enthralled by the simple, unassuming natural beauty of the grounds and the home like quality of the atmosphere.

In 1993 I came to Harlingen to check out the Retirement Living business for a client. This was the first time I had spent any time in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and the first time I had been on the grounds of Camelot Retirement Village. I was impressed with both. Five years later I was hired as a consultant by the new owners of Camelot to manage the property until a full time employee could be selected and hired as manager. Ten months later a new Executive Director was hired and took over Camelot Retirement Village.

Twelve months later, Camelot's owner called me and said they wanted to sell Camelot Garden Homes. After a few months of due diligence I bought Camelot Retirement Village, effective January 1, 2001.

I have enjoyed owning and managing Camelot ever since then. I am the sole owner, general manager and I proud resident of Camelot

I believe the success of Camelot is principally due to my staff who are all very much attuned to providing excellent service to all residents. As a matter of fact, most new residents who have joined us are here because present residents have told their friends how great it is to live here (good "word-of-mouth" advertising).
