We are presently at almost full occupancy, but if you would like to visit our beautiful community and explore your options, please call us at (956) 428-4422. You let us know what you would like in the way the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, if you need a garage or will a carport do, and if you have a dog or other pets, will you need a fence? You decide which of our many floor plans best fits your needs.

As you explore the possibility of moving to Camelot, consider the many benefits of owning or leasing one of our Garden Homes. The amenities that Camelot offers are unequaled in South Texas: They include:

Weekly Housekeeping - Our residents are assigned a housekeeper who will visit once per week at a specified time each week. She'll vacuum the carpeted areas, mop the kitchen and bathrooms, clean the lavatory, tub or shower, the toilet, kitchen counter and do light dusting.

Windows washed inside and out, every 6 months.

Venetian Blinds cleaned every 2 months.

Weekly Laundry Service - Our housekeepers will remove the sheets, pillowcases and towels, launder them in the Camelot laundry, return them to the resident and make the bed on the housekeeping day.

Ceiling fans clean monthly.

Scheduled Transportation - Camelot employs a full-time transportation coordinator who takes residents to doctor's appointments, physical therapists, dentists, optometrists, etc.

City Water – Camelot provides city water at no expense to you. We have an underground sprinkler system that waters your lawn and flower beds.

Maintenance

- Camelot employs full time electricians, plumbers, air conditioning technicians, carpenters and painters.

Laundry Hook ups - Every Garden Home is equipped with connections for your own washer and dryer.

Garage or Carport - Most of our Garden Homes have either a carport or a one or two car garage.

Pest Control Camelot provides quarterly and as-needed pest control for all Garden Homes through a contract with a professional exterminator.

Garbage Pick-up - Camelot employees collect the garbage twice weekly. You simply place your plastic bag or bags by your driveway & we pick it up.

Transportation - Camelot provides weekly trips in either our bus or company car to H.E.B., Wal-Mart, Banking and Church on Sunday.

Bus Tours and Trips - Camelot owns a state-of-the-art Bus that transports 23 passengers in comfort. We take trips to Progreso, Mexico, San Antonio, antiquing in Fredericksburg, the Corpus Christi Aquarium, South Padre Island, local restaurants, theater presentations, etc.

Lodge Amenities - Available to residents and guests.

Outdoor heated swimming pool - we have a 30' X 60' Lap pool designed for exercise or just plain fun.

Game Rooms - Our Camelot Lodge provides a comfortable setting for cards, dominos, scrabble, bingo, and the like.

Billiard Room - Our residents meet daily for a lively game of 8 ball, singles and partners.

Indoor Spa - you set the temperature and the jet speed in our indoor spa with an adjoining shower and dressing room.

Exercise Room - Camelot provides an exercise room complete with accurate scales, blood pressure machine and low impact equipment including a treadmill machine, a recumbent bike and several stationary bicycles. This facility is open 24 hours per day.

Resident Activities

Red Hat Ladies - we have an active group of Red Hatters - Great Fun!

Pot Luck Dinners - Picnics - pancake breakfast. Catered dinners, Mall Walking, Aquatic exercises, Bridge, book reviews, 500, Bingo, Ice cream Socials and much more

Country Drives – Bus outings to see the Texas Wildflowers, Port of Brownsville, Padre Island and other interesting places.

Camelot Security

Residents choose to move to Camelot for a variety of reasons, and each resident will decide which needs are most important. One of the primary concerns of many residents is that of security.

During any given day there are housekeepers, gardeners, maintenance staff, transportation coordinators, and management staff who monitor the entire campus. On evenings and weekends, our front office staff patrols the community hourly. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day.

Electronic call System - Each Camelot Garden Home has an emergency call button in each bedroom and each bathroom.

Visual Monitoring - Because Camelot residents are a very active population, we keep a list of all residents and keep track, daily, of who is on the premises or who are on a trip.
